SVN Deegan-Collins Commercial Realty, (SVNDCCR) is pleased to announce that Hans Hardisty has become a partner and managing director at the commercial real estate firm. Hans works in retail, office and multi-family properties, and is a specialist in the self-storage industry and concentrates on consulting and transactions in that sector.   He generally covers the tri-state area including the Hudson Valley, Connecticut and Northern New Jersey for the SVN National Self-Storage Council.

Hans is a member of the New York State Self-Storage Association, New York Commercial Association of Realtors, a CCIM Candidate, holds an MBA, and has extensive development and management experience.  Prior to joining SVNDCCR, Hans worked as the Business Development Officer for Herb Redl Properties, which owns and operates 14 self-storage facilities across the Hudson Valley Region under the name Guardian Self-Storage.

Hardisty earned his MBA with a focus on Real Estate and Entrepreneurship from The George Washington University and a BA in Economics from Gettysburg College. In between his studies, he worked as a Program Officer for an Economic Development Company in New York, NY. Growing up in the self-storage and real estate family business, Hans has taken on most of the countless tasks and efforts that arise from a landlord, developer, and manager’s perspective.

Hans and his family reside in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
