John Deegan – Advisor

A graduate of the College of the Holy Cross, John began his career in Boston, where he spent four years with Boston Financial working in the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) industry. During his time there, he gained valuable experience in real estate finance, affordable housing, investment analysis, and the financial and operational aspects of multifamily properties.

After four years in Boston, John returned home to Kingston, New York, to pursue a career in real estate brokerage, development and property management. Drawing on his background in real estate finance and investment, he works with property owners, investors, and businesses throughout the Hudson Valley, assisting with acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, property management, and investment analysis.

As a Kingston native, John combines a strong understanding of the local market with an institutional real estate background. His experience on both the financial and operational sides of real estate allows him to approach each assignment from an owner’s perspective, with a focus on maximizing property value and identifying opportunities for long-term growth. He is currently on the board of the Upstate New York CCIM chapter, and pursuing the CCIM designation.
